Both of my brothers are doing the Amsterdam on Sunday!
I did the Great North Run when I was a lot younger and had hoped to do a half marathon this year but didn't have time to train properly so I made do with the Worcester City 10K a few weeks ago.
Playing partner last week hits his approach so far right of the green it goes out of bounds and says "I knew it was a nine iron not a pitching wedge!".
I tried to bite my tongue but couldn't help saying "I don't think the club was the problem mate! A nine iron would have just been even further...
I'm considering it for my 320d, should see 30 to 40 horsepower increase I think and hopefully even better economy (although it'll do 60mpg now).
Not sure on costs though (including potential insurance premium increase).
Pulling out of a swing really affects my next swing.
I was playing at Hawkstone park last month and on the sixth the ball fell off the tee on my downswing, I managed to pull out and abort the shot but I really fluffed the next one it had unsettled me so much!
My understanding (and I'm far from an expert) is if half or more of the total loan has been paid off you are entitled to return to the car and cancel the agreement at no extra cost but don't expect the dealership/finance company to be very happy about it.
Take a line between where the ball last crossed the hazard (in this case the point will be on green side of the penalty area) and the hole and drop anywhere on that line. This will almost definitely mean still having to hit over the penalty area.
I've got a Cobra King F8 3/4 wood set to 15.5 degrees and find the rails really help when hitting out of the rough but I do think some of it could be psychological, the rails give me a lot more confidence hitting out of the longer grass.
I know it depends on the exact circumstances but surely in most cases this isn't possible?
You arrive at the tee and there is a group on the fairway so you wait to play your shot, you are waiting to play your approach while the next group are on the green, you get to the next tee and the slow...
