Why aren't pros given warnings about their behaviour on the course when it comes to spitting. Or informed spitting isn't acceptable before they play and if observed shot deductions will come. They are privileged to be there. Kids are also watching. I wouldn't dream of gobbing on any golf course...

.just as we thought...thanks...I suppose I should have mentioned in the original thread we dont take the game to extremes as per the rule book..my fault .... we arent the type of lads to go wandering back to the tee..it was more of a less informal unwritten penalty so to speak no way should...

For us nobeads if one us us is daft enough to not play a provisional then they are playing 4 or they can go back to the tee and play 3 and can piss off the pringle wearing nobead members brigade follwing behind who wont be playing through ...that would seem fair.
