I don't know. But I am a little doubtful about the recommendations that "core" muscles are critical, given the differing physical attributes of the golfers in the above list.
This is a serious thread. If you wish to call me names or hurl abuse, please do so on another thread.
What muscles groups are most important for golf, and how best to develop them? Before your answer, please consider the following professional golfers and tell me what they have in common...
I think you need to calm down a bit, Tommo, before you do yourself an injury.
They should have let you play through. They didn't. Now you've spent two days complaining about it and calling them all names under the sun. It seem you have the etiquette problem as much as they do.
Okay, here's another quiz.
It's your birthday and you're having a great round of golf. You have four holes left to play but the group in front won't let you play through. Do you:
a. Keep cool and not let it ruin your day.
b. Stamp your feet and scream, confront the group calling them "total...
The most important thing I've learned:
Connect your arms to your body.
At any point of the swing, if my hands are directly in front of my chest then I'll have much greater consistency. When the arms separate from the body the swing becomes uncoordinated and weak. Look on the range and see how...
I have a Bushnell range finder which I find extremely useful (use on nearly every shot after the tee).
I also have a Garmin Approach GPS device which I think is a waste of money. Much better to invest in a smart phone and its multitude of uses and install appropriate software than spend £300...
And the etiquette on the motorway is that you don't hog the outside lane, especially if faster vehicles are approaching from behind. So what do you do if you come across such a driver? Sit on his tail flashing your lights and tooting your horn? Or do you wait patiently until he pulls in?
Bad etiquette on their part, of course. But also bad etiquette on your part expecting to be able to play through. You asked. They refused. Now you've blown a gasket.
Perhaps you should learn to enjoy golf instead of rushing through it? Would be much healthier for the blood pressure too.
