I'm a site manager so finish at 4.30 during the week and get every weekend off. But way things going might be on permanent vacation due to the current "credit crunch. :D
I think it would be good to see more technical courses made for and used in the big comps.as i don't think the big hitters are necessarily the best all round golfers.
He said it would be no problem, when I enquired as to the cost he said he thought the pro would charge something like £30.00 or so.
Is that a full set of irons? Really suprised how reasonable that sounds maybe look in to it myself. Just assumed it would be quite exspensive. Thanks for posting...
Going to a local clubs open day where im keen on beoming a member. Played the course a couple of times which i enjoyed but not spent much time in the clubhouse,on the practice area or spoke to the pro. Just wondering what sort of questions i should be asking when i attend. All advice...
Really look forward to getting my copy of GM in each month. And like the way the mag is moving forward, for example,i like the new feature of the indepth look at a certain piece of equipment.
Not to interested in whats been happening on tour and other comps as keep an eye on this week to week...
Looking at joining my first club soon but got to say not sure due to the security of my job as i'm in the house building business.
But, that said if made redundant gives me plenty of time to get some practice. hehe!
Good read and i agree fully.
Especially the point about 'trust', if you don't fully trust your pro you'll never commit 100% to the techniques he's showing you.
Just read your article, which was a really good read.
And real pleased for you reaching your goal.
Your a lucky guy to have played some of the best courses we have on our little island. And of course being published in the best golf mag around.
Well done again.
Nice reading all the stories of autumn/winter golf.
Won't feel so silly now out in all weathers chasing that litle white ball.
And thanks for the advice. :) Thomas
