I've tested all the 2024 drivers and nothing is better than my 2022 model unsurprisingly.
Only gains to be made if the original driver doesn't really fit you that well.
£1025 for full adult membership (+5% v 2023)
27 holes, driving range and extensive short game area.
Even at £1025, there are still cheaper options in the area but my club offers the best value in terms of overall package.
We've got one of those. The boot is almost non existent. The car on the other hand is utterly brilliant. We've had ours 2.5 years and will probably keep until it's 10 years old and out of Toyota warranty..
We cut fairways yesterday for the 1st time this year. Mats are now optional and parts of the course are looking good.
Greens were top-dressed this week as we have 2 comps between now and next Thursday (schools and district).
Placed an order for a Ping G430 10k this morning and cancelled it by 1pm.
Tested it out on the course v my current driver and it was around 10 yards shorter across 4 or 5 drives. It feels powerful, but that just isn't translating into distance.
The Rogue ST lives to fight another season..
Early April for us. As a lower handicap, I think we have advantages when the course is wet and playing longer. PCC should adjust accordingly so not too much to worry about.
Balls are still plugging, but greens are looking ok and will be fairly quick after a decent cut.
People who leave their bag in the 'wrong' place
Silly pin positions, especially in the middle of summer when the greens are silly quick
People who are too loud
People who play too quickly
Generic fit to see what works and then manufacturers facility to fine tune.
Get the shaft right and there's not loads of difference between the different manufacturers within the same bracket (game improvement / players cavity / blade etc).
