This to me is one of the unbelievable extras that Killarney members get. They have "swap" days each year with other courses where basically the members swap their courses for a Saturday and play a singles competition.
Three of the courses they swap with are Ballybunion, Tralee and Waterville...
Killarney is unbelievable for that money. The 3k includes joining fee and sub for your first year, yearly sub after that is around €1,300
In comparison Fota Island in Cork which has also hosted Irish Opens is a €15,000 joining fee plus yearly sub of just over €2,500
Every course around me in Ireland has gone up, I've yet to hear of one remaining the same. And some have jumped a lot. It's getting costly for anyone who isn't playing regularly enough to justify the cost of a membership.
Single yes, sadly his wife passed away a couple of years ago from cancer. No kids.

Basically he's leaving his club where he's been a member for past 10 years, quality of course has gone downhill plus a few other issues there.
He's got a course...
It's a serious plus of the podcast that they have a current player, you feel you're getting a serious insight into tournaments. Eddie could be playing on a Sunday and you're getting his thoughts by Tuesday morning. No other pod has that type of access.

I've heard this company are producing serious quality items. New enough from what I know but reviews and feedback seem to suggest the gear is top quality.
