Our normal model is the client pays the venue direct for the event before the event and we then invoice for our commission post event. No risk to the club.

Its funny, because like has been mentioned I could simply go to a lot of these venues get their price, go back and say my budget only allows £10 less per person, can we do a deal and they would say yes. Its just sad that it works that way rather than being truthful and building working...
