I mean I called up St Andrews this morning to book ahead the Eden for tomorrow and got told there’s no tee times until past 5pm. Never had this issue any other year so looks like my decisions are being made for me
Played the Ashludie course a few years back but not the medal. I think the offer is only weekdays so might be a stretch tomorrow being over the bridge but definitely worth a shout.

Using St Annes as the example, they used to get overlooked when people would come and play Royal Liverpool, Royal Lytham etc. due to it being £80. And they've actively seen more international and largely American visitors since putting it up to £140...

Fair point and absolutely silly, seeing Pennard at £155 is wild. As soon as I see that golfworking website I know the green fee is over £100 haha.
We know though with inflation, once it goes up it's not coming back down again. So if anything, it's just going to get more expensive, just slower.
Yup we're 100% there. For the average UK golfer it's ridiculous. Even over the past 4-5 years, everything has skyrocketed and even when income has increased, it isn't as much as the bills are...
