Having retired I joined Welwyn Garden Golf Club where I found a friendly and welcoming group of golfers and play 2/3 times a week; as well as in the Seniors matches against other clubs in Hertfordshire. WGCGC, whilst not long, requires accuracy off the tee; and has an excellent 'halfway house'.
