Well I paid £15 for my trolley too (partly because I'm a tight wad but also see post on "Does you wife know how much you spend..." thread)
As the only bag I've got is a stand bag, I just feed the strap around the (folded) legs when it's on the trolley and hey presto - no twisting.
Oh yes she knows, but as SWMBO puts more than twice as much as me in to the joint account each month I guess it's actually her paying for most of it. Great wheeze.

To be honest, as someone new to the game who sprays balls around the place with depressing regularity, the legal decision (Court of Appeal?) a few years ago which ruled that golfers who mis-hit shots will be liable to pay damages if they cause injury to other people (even if they do shout fore)...
Having taken up the marvellous mania less than a year ago I took out insurance the same day I joined the club. PI claims are too expensive for my budget, as is replacing my clubs out of my own pocket. As for the hole in one cover - maybe one day ;)
