I have already played, and lifted a provisional so does that not incur a penalty as well as losing a ball and playing the wrong ball? I would think I would be more than 5 off the tee, maybe better to N/R!!!!!!
Andy, thanks for confusing me even more than I was already. You seem to have a grasp of the rules ok but you didnt answer my question. I presume I must return to the tee, but how many shots have I played?
After driving into the rough I played a provisional off the tee. I found my drive, knocked it down the fairway and lifted my provisional ball. As I went to play my 3rd shot I realised that I had played the wrong ball from the rough. As it was a stableford I scored 0 but what would have happened...
