Cheers for that haha.
If you get out to the 5th tee on the new course you have:
14th tee Old
13th green old
13th green new
obviously 5th tee
and you can vaguely see 14th tee new and 4th green.
Good spot I'd say but it depends whose coming round and what time you are there.
Happy Spectating :)
Although 5 is the longest iron in my bag as I then go to hybrids I still feel it is a mid iron. I feel I'm missing a 3 and 4 iron now but at the time hybrids were the right choice for me.
I think the way manufacturers sell clubs means that a 5 iron is now more widely considered a long iron.

You can turn up whenever, it's 36 holes and starting from around 6.30. there will be people to tell you where to park and then you can decide where you want to watch from or which group you want to follow if you can find them.
Can't stop hitting buffer in competitions.
Ranging from -3 to +7 in practice; comes to a competition +6 every time. Grueling stuff but had a .3 cut so far this season with 4 qualifying rounds next week. In need of greens to finally roll smoothly, bring the practice into competition.
It's worth it definitely! Even if you pop over for a couple of hours, there are some great spots where both courses cross so you can see 2 greens and tees. I'll be marshaling from 6.30 please make my job worthwhile!
