Thanks. So in your Club the Seniors Captain does sits on the main Committee or the equivalent of the Board of the Club. Hence my initial question really because I am also aware of this in other clubs but this definitely the exception.

Yes I believe that the Captains of each section do sit on the Golf Committee in some clubs.
