Spot on this in my humble opinion.i was in a similar position to you about 6 years ago. I played the Kernow first and then the Nicklaus.Got absolutely beaten up but i parred the 11th on the Nicklaus and I was hooked. I wish you all the best playing St Mellion and just enjoy the experience 👍

The views are some of the best the world has to offer but I just didn’t like Isle of Purbeck in dorset

Been and played Saunton east and west for the last three years.Love playing there and played when calm and in 50 mph wind and a hailstorm! Links golf reminds me of being on one of the best rollercoasters there is,sometimes you want to get off but when the rides over you can’t wait to go on again!!

I use the ball which feels the best to putt with(Wilson dx2).i ain't good enough to notice the difference in any other part of my game.

For me st mellion Nicklaus and Saunton east are tough but a brilliant experience. Isle of purbeck for me is just tough and I never played well around there
