I played in this last year, very impressed with the course and the bargain price of £15 really enjoyed it, unfortunately not able to make it this year moved on to different courses in this years itinerary.
We have done this at our course over the last couple of years culminating in the planting of 250 saplings over the last couple of weeks. I have been led to believe that this, (removing non native trees) is a directive from England Golf.
I only really play over the winter and research the top games of the last year or so, bought used and resold when finished with. The last couple of games I have played and really enjoyed are: Shadow of the Tomb Raider, both Death Strandings, Astrobot and as already mentioned above both ghost...
I played Tsushima a while ago, really enjoyed it, the only game I have platinum for, currently on with Yotei and pleased to say it is pretty much more of the same. 😍
I bought 3 from them last year and was similarly impressed but not to the extent of buying more, it was nothing to do with the quality it was down to not needing anymore golf polo's.
My club did this about 40 years ago and there were quiet a few that tok it up, some geting more value than others, as far as i am aware there are only 3 left two older gents (twins) and the other now lives in Australia.
AGM at our's was on Wednesday and next years subs passed at £693, only a slight increase on last year.
We are a nine hole course, a tad under half the price of the nearest 18 hole.
With the second series of The Night Manager airing and having never watched the first one, I manged to persuade the missus to give it a go, well worth it, very enjoyable and looking forward to the new one.
We watch FBI and that is just the same; crime happens, suspect identified & apprehended, spills the beans and perpertrator is then usually chased and caught, the end. I know thats the basis for most shows but it is so linear.
