Yeah they were pretty terrible, the greens at the other three were pretty good. I didnt really enjoy Nairn but I think that was just down to my mood that day :one:

    2017 Golf- Scotland

Because we wanted a golfing weekend and it's the only time we could all manage, plus its cheaper to play these courses at this time of year. TBF we got great weather considering the time of year and the courses were all in great condition

    2017 Golf- Scotland

I'm playing GIS again this year, think we are going to play Largs, Craigielaw, Pumphy and Baberton. Did a wee trip up North at the weekend and played Brora, Nairn, Dornoch and Castle Stuart. Would definitely recommend Brora for experience of the cows on the fairway and electric fences round the...

Buying my first electric trolley advice wanted

Get a GOKART, best customer service by far and folds down to about the same size as the motocaddies for much less money

    Nike..... Rory...... Just no!!

I'm a total sneakerhead but the Air zoom 90's are not nice, too chunky for a golf shoe

anyone else get hip pain when playing?

You will probably find your hamstrings and glutes are tight, they are pulling on the bottom of your back which is restricting your hip rotation. If you google lower back and hamstring stretches and try and do them twice a day you should start to see some improvement quite quickly

    Glasgow Clubs

I'm a member at Milngavie, definitely the best course close to the west end. If you ever want to try it just give me a shout and I'll get you on

    New irons...

Another vote for the JPX, I love mine. Plus Mizuno dont charge for shaft upgrades and have probably the best fitting system around

Ball sitting down in lush rough

I always try and put a bit more weight on the front foot for this kind of lie(maybe 60/40), it encourages you to hit down on the ball a bit more. Works for me but might not work for others

    Scotland U19 Manager

I was talking about this the other day and its just not an issue in football, Scotland has loads of talent at youth level that never seems to develop. The under 20's rugby team perform out there skin reguarly, just shows that there needs to be a clear out of antiquated coaching methods and let...

    Custom fitted clubs.

Usually doesnt cost you anything extra for custom fitting unless you want to upgrade grips/shafts or make changes to the length of the club. I was just fitted for my Mizunos and I managed to get a discount on the standard club price even with upgraded grips. Price depends on what clubs you buy...

Car damage in club car park

My clubs insurance covers any incident involving a golf ball being hit into the car park but im sure like anywhere they wouldnt cover damage by another car. Thats the responsibilty of the person driving the car that hits you
