Played Tehidy by Cambourne yesterday & was pulled up for wearing black socks with shoes & shorts. Did't bother me i only put them on for a coffee in the clubhouse. Not that i wear black socks & shoes.

Newquay is £25.00 or £15.00 with a member which on a glorious day is exceptional.

North Cornwall has some of the best links courses, trevose, newquay etc Dennis Thatcher was a member of Trevose & liked the odd? g&t. As for restaurants get yourself down to Newquay & Ye olde Dolphin a tradional english restaurant with their own fishing boat, seafood is the dogs.

Have to agree with john, playing Newquay the views out to sea are outstanding, not to good when blowing a hooly though.

I try to play once a day be it 4,9 or 18, if i don't play i'm on the range. Maybe pratice putting for about ten minutes on the putting green before a round, played nine holes today, shot 42..........24 were putts 57%, makes you start thinking.

I have just bought a 1r 16 degree baffler stiff adila nv 65 shaft,golfpride grip for an unbelieveable £59.95 (inc del) brand spanking new from online golf.co.uk i've just hit a few on the range & what a club. Anyway the course is a different thing, but i'm seriously impressed.
