Pitching from 70 yards and in is a constant problem.How do you find the right distance without either flying over the back of the green or coming up short with that demoralising knowledge that you have to get up and down in 2 shots?????
I think it wouldnt matter what you put with. if your only playing once a fortnight, stick with what you have got because you wont improve that much if at all unless you practice.

Thanks for the advice,i was thinking of having a few lessons but i only play about once a fortnight and am not too sure if i would feel the benefit. My driving is generally pretty good but my putting is starting to disilusion me and my game!

The winds may have been worse in Portugal but i think the PGA players may have just shaded it as they also play in windy conditions but still manage to make birdie putts. I am of the opinion that whatever the conditions are,they are the same for everyone out there.
