Assume that you wont get your money back in short term... once you set your expectations low.... it feels like it is paying back every single day.
We are in April and this week might be the first week of the year where export > import ... it feels like a win.
I must admit I am a sucker for a proper home makeover show… I can spend an afternoon watching things like ‘home made perfect’, George Clarke’s amazing space, restoration, Grand design etc. as much as I like British shows, I dislike American ones. Too much OTT, too much crying and hugging etc...
3 days working in Sitges, outside Barcelona
Lovely people, great food, lovely weather. Unfortunately they are also in the middle of a drought, else love the Spanish way..
Just landed in Barcelona …. Always a bit squeaky to go to the ‘third world’ queue … was used to rocking up.
Today there are about 500 people in front of us, queue is about 4 lines deep.. a true British dream ..
i am only exporting after the battery is full.. so either way i have shifted the load. If the sun is out, then it is the perfect time to get loads like laundry done. that way, you can get away by not using battery and just working directly off solar
23Kw generated today of which 18 exported....
So i decided to run the washing and tumble dryer... battery is still intact and still exporting.. What is not to like.
it is an interesting way to visualise it... but you are underplaying Transmission losses .. I would assume T&D losses to be around 8-10%..
.. and i like the BMW 330 over a Tesla S.
i think it makes a lot of sense for mass transport like Taxi industry. I think they are trialling it in India (?) for 2 wheelers. As @cliveb says, it would make a lot of sense if it was swappable and generic design rather than manufactuerer specific
(update) 2 wheeler video from Singapore >
I always thought the battery swapping was a better option for city folks than charging... this tread on the Chinese taxi is great. (PS: I bought a few NIO shares, but they have fallen only 90% since i bought them)
