Had my best round at my club yesterday, beating my previous best round which was 2 weeks ago... 85 gross (previous was 86 gross) but the highlights for me were: - kept a 7 (or worse) off my card - kept 3-putts (or worse) off my card - started and finished with the same ball Non qualifying...

I like that it can be opened up for the crowd pleasing flop shot or kept square for something near from around the green. Don't really use it in a bunker (unless its right at the face etc) as use my 56 as a SW. The 60 is just a versatile LW. Also, cos when I bought them I didn't know anything...

Still playing an old (2006!) set of Vokey SM wedges... 52.08 / 56.12 / 60.08 Like the set up, but if buying new I would probably up the bounce on the 52 as the turf on my course varies so much between summer and winter.

We (family membership) joined Foxhills this time last year and have really enjoyed our time there. Plenty competition rounds in the year, great social side with other new members and not had an issue booking a round (so long as you are quick on the 15 day booking window) and if you do struggle...

Slight update.... 10 days into life with glasses, I have got used to the transition in day-to-day activities, but golf is a complete no. The ball just sits in the transition line when addressing the ball and becomes blurry / floaty. I can read a putt but when I address the putt I see some odd...

Well that didn’t go well. 3 points on the 1st. Had only managed to score another 4 points by the 8th. Putting was near impossible and the feeling of seasickness was too much. Put the glasses away and managed 22 points from the remaining 10 holes. These lenses aren’t working out for me ?

I looked at a Titleist hybrid 14 when I got my Motocaddy M1 but the guy in the shop talked me out of it… said it wasn’t much better than my Players 4+ So I’ve kept the 4+ for winter and got a cart bag for summer.

Went with the SuperDigital lenses (actually thought I went with TailorMade but the paperwork today showed superdigital.

I have 2 x Titleist bags; Players 4+ StaDry and a Premium Cart StaDry. Both have been excellent. I like the StaDry for winter where I can use with or without the trolley. But, I should have sacked off my Titleist brand loyalty and just gone with a Motocaddy Hydroflex as others have mentioned...
