Have used re-finnished Pro V1's from direct golf through the winter at £12 dozen (if you but 3 doz)you can't go wrong. Have tried most other balls but always come back to the Pro V.

You could do a lot worst than the "golden triangle" of Coxmoor, Notts (Holinwell) and Sherwood, all close to Mansfield Nottingham. All great courses and fully playable all year round.
