England need to play 3 and 4 day games and get used to building a score over time instead of this Bazball score quickly stuff. Test matches are 5 days long, England need to use the time.
Most of my golf is played in the north of England so I don't have experience of many courses south of Birmingham, I have played a few of the Open venues but think my favourite to play is Silloth, it is links but has quite a bit of elevation changes, which for me makes a course more interesting...
I am not really bothered about Christmas this year, my partner who loved it died suddenly this year so I was not really looking forward to it. That said her daughter has invited me to spend Christmas with her family so I will be having some Christmas and I do love a roast turkey dinner.

I really like Journey, I saw it played live about 120 years ago, I listened to it a lot more than his other albums although I did see him play 6 wives and arthur earlier this year which was very good.
I did this yesterday, playing off a temporary tee, we could see a green, looked about the right distance so we drove off, while getting read to play our 2nd shots saw another group playing down to the same green!
Should have driven off the other way to a green we couldn't see.
My course is generally reckoned to be harder than another local course, however I get 3 shots more playing the other course, the thing that makes ours harder is the we have a lot of penalty areas a lot of them yellow staked, however it seems that they do not really come into the rating on most...
We had our 11 hole winter competition today, on full greens, in stead of the temps we have bee non recently due to frozen ground. I was pleased to score 24 points and mostly played well. Interestingly the girl I was playing with scored 27 points, she played very well but the big different...
In our women's section we are very keen to do well in interclub matches and there is generally a lot competitions for places on the teams. That said although we do well in our regional leagues we don't take that success forward into our county finals.
