I certainly would if you like the subject matter, I do like historical crime novels and there are a lot of good series out there. I enjoy the historical background as well as the crime element.
What I have really been enjoying this week is not music but comedy, I have started listening to Mark Steel is in Town on BBC sounds, I had heard snippets in the past but am going through the series, it is often laugh out loud goodness.
I moved into the 21st Century yesterday and was listening to Tool, still undecided on them, some if the stuff I heard was good but I wasnt taken with everything
We had our weekly 12 hole comp today, I played decently, however I was given a short game lesson by the girl I was playing with, she chipped in twice, holed two 20 foot putts and only took a total of 12 putts and 3 of those were on one hole.
I did it for 10 years, when I started we didn't have the facility for players to enter their own scores and so after a competition 2 of us sat down and manually entered all the scores so that was fairly time consuming depending on how wany played, once people could enter their own score things...
I have been reliving a lot of unforgotten bands on Youtube, it brilliant what is on there, a folky type band form the early 70s called Magna Carta is latest catchup made an excellent album called Seasons, that I had until I lent it to a friend who badly scratched it. Not heard it for 50 years...
