Royal Eastbourne is OK but nothing special - I'd take a 20 minute ride over to Seaford and play Seaford Golf Club (Blatchington not the Head).

According to Sussex County Card website, £45 after 11am (not Friday's) for West Sussex. Absolute bargain for a course of this quality. Course is very playable all year round too. Definitely call ahead to check availability. http://www.sussexgolf.org/county_info/county_cards/

I think we went back to trying the XP90 R300 with the AP2 head and still the AP1 was a much better result. Going to mull this one over!

I am off 11 and use AP2 712's with Dynamic Gold S300. I think the weakness in my game is my approach shots with my irons. Sometimes I play fab with them but there is plenty of opportunity for better more consistent hits. This evening I went to a Titleist fitting to try out the AP2 716's to see...

The Waterfall course is very nice with some excellent holes. It is the members course. The other course, the pay and play Kingfisher is pretty average. South Lodge Hotel is lovely.
