these things happen on golf courses people get hit by balls, why must we bring the compensation culture into the game of golf, the guy probarly feels like s**t for doing this, lets all take a reality check!!!
hi punchbowl,
welcome to the forum i totally agree with rnd get custom fitted for clubs normally around £50 but if you buy the clubs there and then the fee for fitting is knocked off, not everybody does this so shop around, keep us informed!!!
i totally agree it does not matter what make or condition the clubs are in if they work keep hold of them, we are put under immense pressure too buy shiny new models every new season, think where your'e game is at just now!!!
i had a downhill chip over a bunker and onto the green which was running away from me i took a 60 degree lob wedge full swing and landed the ball 6 foot from the hole, wish i had a camera coz it will never happen again!!!
ok in my humble opinion the cobra f speed driver is the best at the moment and a reasonable price too, as for the putter the ping g5i craz-e is so steady and perfectly weighted makes it a great club i think it retails for about £100, good luck keep us informed!!!
a lot of clubs have leisure facilities joined to the course so the whole family is catered for, unfortunatly old clubs dont realise that revenue also comes from the whole family eating and drinking at the club rather than just one person.
this is a great game we have but it does have to move...
i had the ping craz-e g5i and loved it, i then sold it for peanuts bought a scotty cameron newport 2 i couldn't hit a cow with a banjo sold that one and bought the same ping putter again now the hole is a bucket (happy days) so yes expensive putters are not always the best for you!!!!
hi buddy, hope your'e feeling better, can i ask you do you really want to claim compensation from this guy he probarly feels bad enough at what happened imagine if the shoe was on the other foot, the whole world is going compo crazy lets not bring it into our great game
