We're going to be £1640, not inc. bar levy, EGU etc. £120 increase. Probably more or less in line with all but a couple of other courses in the South Birmingham area. Hollywood is cheaper and, I think, Copt Heath & Blackwell are higher.

We have a great course, but only 2 nets and a very small practice area - about 70 yards too, that I never use. We do have a nice short-game area though. However, I only live 10 minutes from a range. I prefer to play not practice, even if it's just 2 or 3 holes. I'm too old/ill to take golf that...

Played 11 today. Good fun, but crazy. Bunkers frozen solid. Greens rock hard. I hit a 58 degree wedge from 50 yards really nicely on the 1st to the front of the green with a back pin. It's first bounce went about 8 feet in the air and 2nd bounce about 4 feet in the area and ended up 10 yards...

Me too. Codechaos in summer, these in winter. They've been great. Now on their 3rd winter and still in fine fettle.

We were open again yesterday for the first time since xmas day. Managed to sneak a quick solo 6 holes in. Played like the fool I am, but it was great being back in the fresh air.

I think I'm in a minority. Crossfield, Coach, Dan, Ask Golf Nut, Club Champ/TXG, Precision Golf et al. I love 'em all and tend to watch for an hour each day both before & after work. Sad, I know... Due to health I can't play as much as I'd like, so they take me to a happy place.

Our course has been closed for 11 days, so we had a few holes yesterday at a local pay and play course linked to a hotel. It was a bit of exercise and fresh air, but I can fully understand why we're closed!
