    Launch monitors and range balls

I've got a skytrak unit, and took it to the range the other night - using range balls the distances are all over the place as well as the spin numbers - some shots with a LW coming out at crazy distances with less than 3k spin - but my normal ball down and hit that the spin is back up to the...

    How do you practice?

No definitely no excuses this year! I know I'm pretty lucky. Was a big part of us moving was somewhere with the land to build a "golf cave". Mrs got Fed up me being away at the range spending cash a few nights a week, so least this way I'm 10 seconds down the garden!

New Car Lease space for golf clubs

My current company car lease (Nissan X Trial 4WD) is coming to an end in March and need to start looking for the next set of wheels. Was going to get another one, but the lease fee has gone up pushing any decent spec'd ones out of my allowance. Looking for any ideas on a decent sized good spec...

Driver - Making unconvincing noises in backswing and through impact.

I've had it with a driver shaft before that was fine until i tried to change the settings by the adaptor and a tiny bit of excess glue from the adaptor was sliding up and down the shaft making a crack noise each time it was swung. Took the grip off and it dropped out The process of taking the...

    Playing to your handicap..how often?

I've played 70 social rounds this year Played to handicap or below 24 times, around buffer 10 times, the 36 would have been over buffer zone if a comp round. Although played 20 new courses so that probably is some of it I've played 3 comp rounds (now work weekends) 1, cut, 1 buffer, 1 +0.1

    Printing From an Ipad

Yeah pretty much spot on. Officially from Apple there is an app called airprint i think, this adds a print option into most apps, mail safari etc and then you select print. If you had a printer that had AirPrint support rather than wireless only, you will have no problems - a lot of printers...

Thunderstorms forecast - to play or not to play?

A good website i always use just before going out for a round is http://meteoradar.co.uk/expected-rainfall Its actual Radar footage, and is only a 3 hour forecast, but has been very accurate every time i've used it - even down to the rain starting at the time it says!
