Alvaro hole in one on the par 4 at the Olympic!
Need I write anymore? Imagine a three under par single hole, and what it would do to your scorecard!! Amazing. Pity I'd go and make a double to follow it...
In addition to what I said earlier, I remember picking up my new forged thin lined bla bla player irons and passing them to my old man, who's a good mid 20 handicapper. He could hit them completely fine, he turned round to me and asked me what all the fuss was about?! SPI irons are a new...
Just laugh it off with good playing pals, play with my dad in comps and he's the best at doing so. Just tells me forget about it, and if it happens again, it just fuels him for more abuse later! If I'm with playing partners who aren't as relaxed, I just try and cut out the doubles out of the...
Yeah I'm similar, but I don't like to compare myself to other players, because the players I play against have different motivations and targets etc compared to me. I just want to hit it as accurately as possible, and as far as possible without sacrificing this accuracy. I've also heard moving...
Thanks! I'll bear that in mind. I think my old driver is that bad for me, I've lost trust in drivers completely, hence why i have so much confidence in a three wood to get it out there! Like I said, my three wood is fine for pretty much all the holes apart from two where I struggle to reach! I...
I see where you're coming from, but a lot of people are saying that I'm leaving yards out there. I love to play a nice high draw with my three wood, and I'd want something around a 10.5 or 11degree driver, so at the moment, I can't see if there is an advantage of paying £240 for four degrees...
I have a different experience of the whole concept of beginners to better play irons etc. I was fitted for some, well in honesty, beast cavities when I first started out. And it didn't help my game one bit, it taught me that I could get away with coming over the top and still shoot 13 or 14...
So sorry for needing to ask this question, I've recently posted about adjustable drivers etc. I currently use a 3wood off the tee and get it out 240, which is fine but on some holes into wind, i'm suffering having to hit four irons and longer into greens. What is the difference you all...
Like I said in an earlier forum, if i use midrange to cheaper balls, i struggle to stop balls on greens from certain distances. I love to hit the ball in low, so prefer more expensive balls to get the stop I require. Doesn't help I'm hitting from the left hand rough a lot of the time too...:mmm:
Win the competition! No rush to get new clubs into play, theres enough difficulty of playing in comps without needing to worry about new clubs! Win win win!
Ive played golf for only a year now, and have always wanted a draw. Not because its the 'good looking' shot, to impress playing partners, but because I see every shot as straight / draw. My eye simply cannot adjust to seeing fades, even after playing a year with a traditional slice. I don't...
I think the main thing at the moment is this forum is linked with the thick rough forum started a few days ago! I hit many good drives that landed 1metre into the rough, eliminating all spin, control and lengths off any drives!
