My “bad streak” is actually permanent

I believe you Bob, cheers. I’ve got a funny feeling this is gonna work for me and I’m gonna be as happy as Larry (y)

Maybe a dumb question, but will this sacrifice distance? I can’t see why it would but it sounds too good to be true if it works?

Bob and Curls, thank you. Kind of confirms the title of this post I suppose. I can maybe get away with it a bit more if I change ball position and grip. I’ll look into it and ask at my next lesson. Funnily enough I’m sure I’ve got the right instructor now, just a shame I’ve arrived at him as...

My “bad streak” is actually permanent

I can’t recall ever being told I’m flat footed but I’m absolutely fading and slicing the ball yes. Badly

I’ll take it as it’s written and find it very valuable, thank you. I am 100% an upper body player. Very arms and hands. Marcus of Zen golf - I’m not a YouTube searcher but I’m sure I’ve seen some of his stuff

As crazy as that looks when I re-read it and your statement in black and white, yes. It really is like that. I hit the odd one maybe 1 club more but that’s rare. Tried everything and then a new instructor for a reset and I’m still at rock bottom and of the belief that I won’t get it back

Concentrate on finishing with weight on left foot and try to finish the swing earlier (so that the club is pointed almost at the target rather than behind my neck). Problem is over-swing and massively coming across the ball

Great to see your perseverance paying off. Well done. To the other posters, I’m pleased to know it’s not just me but at the same time, disappointed others go through it. It’s not my age that’s causing it, as I’m early 30s so I don’t think that’s the one. I’ve already had a few lessons from...

My “bad streak” is actually permanent

Anybody else had an almighty bad patch before that went on so long you suddenly realised that you’re just not that good anymore? I’ve struggled massively for 3 years now. I’ve had lessons and persevered and tried everything. But I’m getting worse and worse and now genuinely can’t see a way out...

Tyson Fury story - the film

I wouldn’t mind the prep for the weight gain. The aftermath could be a challenge though..

Tyson Fury story - the film

Never thought of Bautista. Definitely an option. Also never thought of the weight gain and loss for the film. Can’t remember where a 10 stone weight shift has occurred in a film. Tom Hardy not far off as Bane - minus the mask

Tyson Fury story - the film

Wow. Demanding? No. Can't see where I've demanded any answers. I'd have been perfectly happy with zero responses to the thread. I just often read this forum and there seems to be a lot of good people and opinion on all things - not just golf. Incredibly narrow? Don't think so. I was just...

Tyson Fury story - the film

That's fine. No offence taken. Not really answer to the question of who might play him in a film though is it. It's not like I asked does anybody care about him or interested in a film about him.

Tyson Fury story - the film

It may just be me, but if I had as little as that to contribute to a thread, I wouldn't bother. Still, thanks for your useful feedback (y) Exactly. I rarely have a turnaround on somebody but his case is genuine. An extremely likeable bloke who like us all, will continue to make mistakes as...

Me too actually. It's not as cut and dry as other drugs cheat stories though as far as I've seen. I don't know, you're maybe right.
