I have a fade as well and I also struggle in the wind due to the spin on the ball. I still hit the ball as hight but hit it softer with longer irons and that takes away the spin and gets me the distance

what a difference a few more weeks of practise makes. Must be hitting the ball on the sweet spot as the balls are now landing softly and dead when I am attacking the pins! Time to start flag hunting!!

I do trusty rusty 59. Mainly used for bunkers and the odd flop shot

4 wedges dor me as well 48, 52, 56, 59 So important when your 150 yards in to try and get it close. rather hit a full wedge than a half wedge

The greens here are immaculate. probably the best I have played in Essex, however they are just so quick and the bounce when the ball hits them is unreal. and if you even try and roll the ball on when you get a chance they are tricky greens and the ball will just roll off the green with the slope

Just what the course pro adviced me to use. I got on well with the tru soft balls. Have 3 dozen velocity left so may be a case of switching over to the tru soft balls again. They are cheaper as well

Most holes have a front edge bunker or a small hill that can send it left or right before the green
