    Masters on the Beeb

The Masters is on CBS in the states so he should still be free (and Ken Brown's tweet above suggests he'll be with the BBC). Not an Alliss fan myself but think Andrew Cotter is a great commentator.

Thanks for the tip. Have ordered a 3 pack of the shirts. I'm normally somewhere between a small and a medium so have ordered small for these based on the above.

PING G10 From the Bargin bin

James Hahn won at Riviera using a 2007 TM Burner 3 Wood and a Titleist hybrid from 2011 so agree nothing wrong with using old clubs!

    Sutprising lack of rules knowledge

True, I guess it does say it's technically in the hazard even if the grounding of the club rule doesn't apply.

    Celtic Manor

I'd say go for it on 15 too. I'm by no means a long hitter and was safe enough - there's plenty of landing area short of the green. You do need to be careful on your second shot, though, and make sure you don't finish on the bank to the right of the green. I went in there and it's really tangly...

    Golf in Pembrokeshire, Wales

I go to Pembrokeshire most years and always get a few rounds in. Amazing part of the country. Normally seem to get pretty lucky with the weather but you should probably bank on getting at least a day of rain. It is Wales, after all! There are actually more courses there than you might think...

Paris or North French coast course recommendations

Not on the coast but you could check out St Omer. Used to host a European Tour event, now downgraded to Challenge Tour I think. Nice course.

This years OPEN - £80 for a day ticket!

Anyone else gutted that the Wales Open at Celtic Manor is no more? I went to that for the last 4 or 5 years and it was always a great experience. Reasonably priced (about £20 a ticket) and never too busy. The design of the 2010 means it's a great course for spectators too and it was easy to get...
