Good man, pretty decent review there thanks for the time to do it. I'm leaning towards blackwood I think at the moment due to the cheaper green fees. Everywhere seems to be 1k plus whereas they're only 650 quid.
Not too worried about winter golf to be honest wherever I might join.

I had a copy of this but lent it to a friend and it never came home.
Don't really want to fork out 30 quid or whatever it now to get a new one so If anyone had a copy they didn't want anymore Iet me know.
Thanks
Hello all
Used to use the forum a few years back but due to kids, wedding and houses haven't played much over the last few years but i'm now ready to get stuck in again and thinking of joining a club next year so looking for some advice

First 3 for me. Think it's more to do with figuring out what's working for me on any given day. I.e. not driving well might start hitting irons/fairways off tees. Think it's a case of learning from mistakes as the round goes on.
I put long game but it would be toss up between that and putting. Opted for long game because my irons have always been the real strength of my game but I wasn't able to utilise this strength because my driver was putting me in trouble 80% of the time. Now I'm much better off the tee it gives me...
thought it was just a preference thing.
The reason I ask is I'm thinking of changing my putter. I have a 3 month equipment change itch it seems that just keeps coming back to bite me. Tried a blade style putter while abroad in mexico recently and really got on well with it. It was an Odyssey XG...
Whats the difference in milled putters vs insert putters? is it just a case of personal preference?
Also whats the difference between scotty cameron select and california range of putters - is one just the newer version of the other?!
Any other info on scotty camerons appreciated.
no expert but some bits I'd be trying to fix if that were my swing.
you've got a bit of a scoopy action at impact. arms look very bent at impact when they should be straightening. I think sorting that out would also sort out your follow through which looks a bit dodgy lol

I'm not even close to being an expert but the position in the picture below from your video I always thought was a no no (perhaps some of the more educated on here could confirm). I think it's what most of the guys above have been talking about.
I think it's termed your right knee collapsing...
Duncan you may be right that the x22 was marketed as a long club but in 2009. If you think it would be fair for ford to say that their new 2012 focus with a 2 litre engine is faster than a 1.6 Vauxhall astra from 2009 then that's your opinion but that's the equivalent.
I've nothing against...
