Got my third year uni exams a wee while back, passed them all to give me an ordinanry degree! Going back for honours this year!
I remember my standard grades and highers very well and I left school at the end of fifth year to go to uni!
I got 6 1s and 2 2s for standard grade which I was elated...
To be honest I didnt think that it would be public knowledge, as I think that they will make a bob or two from selling extra wrenches!
I think it will also probably be an awkward half or three-quarters size in order to make it difficult to use your own!
Hi guys
I've just bought a taylormade R7 425 second hand. It was really quite cheap, so I couldnt pass it up, but it didnt come with the wrench. Now I can get a replacement one quite cheap, but cheaper than cheap is free, and I have a well stocked garage of tools.
I like the set up just now, but...
Won't be the head of ikea, or at least it wont be the owner!
I read an article about him in the paper once, it seems he is a major tight arse!
Couple of my favourite stories
He was asked to cut the ribbon at a statue of himself in his local town, so instead of cutting the ribbon, he untied it...
I do this with my dads pc. I have do idea how he does it, but he makes it a nessesary move every 6 to 9 months!
I had the same laptop for 3 years before it was knackered, and that was a hardware failure that did that (Overheating!, to be fair it had 3 years of nearly non stop use!) What I have...
I have a holiday place in st andrews and for a golfer there really is nothing like playing a round at the home of golf. Admittedly there are better courses, and cheaper ones, and once its been done its been done, but you have to do it at some point I think!
a two shot penalty is harsh, I do think it should be discouraged though. not a plesant thing to do, especially when your are being broadcast around the world!
Closest ive ever gotten was when I holed a 6 iron from about 130 yards away. It was a long par 5, and I took a 6 iron and a nice easy smooth swing, and it payed off!
Since then Ive played very much by the club up, and swing smoother method, had some good results!
No mate, that was a compliment, it seems there is an argument in the forum over people joining just to sell things for free. So the fact that you have offered to give anway something shows that not everybody is the same!
Strathclyde is where I play when I can only manage 9 holes, as a student costs me £2.10 to play as well! Nice 9 hole course I think!
Even better, it costs me £5 for £18 at any of the other courses, like hollenbush!
I really enjoy solo golf, and not being a club member myself, when I'm playing i also have to pay, not much granted as I play my muni course when I play solo, but still!
I find that I dont necessarily play as well alone, I push myself more to get things right when I'm playing with others...
I dont want personally to get involved in a CF debate, although I do believe that such a debate is certainly warranted and good!
I simply think that a pro could assess the swing and recommend a set of clubs that would suit the player, regardless of whether the player then has the clubs fitted.
I...
Generally the price of the custom fitting session is deducted off the cost of buying any clubs. Its just to stop people being custom fitted, then passing on their fit details to anyone else who have an offer etc on the irons.
Definately get custom fitted. The pro can determine the right kind of...
