The last place I was at had a scheme which your fees rise per year depending on age up until 35. The only caveat being you had to of joined the club before the age of 21 The junior section was big though so it encouraged those to carry on with their membership. That seemed to work fairly well

Maybe you can ask how much just to to be a member of the putting green and learn how not to keep leaving them short 🤣

I would say it depends on his commitments away from the course? If he is single with time on his hands then the better course. If he has a young family and time is more precious then the extra 2 hours per round will soon become a sticking point.

My mother-in-law has hers via a video call. Good luck to the Doctor with that as she is worse than useless with a phone. She often video calls the whole family with no idea she has done it and argues black is blue that it wasn’t her 🤣
