Loved the North v South series. Not watching as much of Crossfield in Turkey, but I thought the 18 holes with Westwood were fascinating. It took a bit too long to get Lee involved, but seeing the difference between a Tour Pro and a teaching pro up close made for a great series.
His short game...
I'm sure I do have a PSR but no idea what it is. As far as I'm aware I pick a line, stand over it and swing away.
In reality I probably fidget like Dan Biggar until I get comfy. Personally I don't see the point of worrying about having a repeatable process, although I can imagine for other...
Wind will only affect ball flight when you forget to take it into account.
No amount of wind will bring your ball back if you deliberately start it out left.
Oh I know that feeling. I could miss left all day with the driver and still worry about slicing one because that was the experience I first got. Ingrained thoughts are so tough to lose, even if you've now got the clubface control that you didn't have at first.
Good luck with it. Hope it works.
Have you tried hitting pull hooks? I know that sounds silly, but the point is can you control your clubface? Your swing path sounds out-to-in, although as you'll know if you watch Crossfield videos you can change that just by aiming right. Because your path is left of target, you are trying to...
16 Handicap, 1 over gross after 9. 4 bogeys and a par, still 5 over after 14. Two quad bogeys, followed by par, bogey to finish up 14 over, only just getting a cut after being 7 under net at the turn.
Thanks coach. I'll definitely bear it in mind. If I'm understanding correctly, it's a slight change to bend my knee more and my back a little less. That should help stabilise me as I swing and cut down on a few unnecessary movements and shifts which can lead to inconsistent shots if I don't...
Bit of an Eccleston Park massive going on here - we'll be able to take on the Lee Park lot soon if we get a few more recruits.
Yep, Clarkes and Sherdley Park range are my two locals that take all my money over winter.
Well it's been a while since I posted my swing, but here's where we're at these days. Still a bit of early extension going on, but I'm hitting the ball much better than I used to so I may just work with it over winter.

Glad you said UK based. I've tried watching some of the American guys and they are just unwatchable to me. Not quite sure why, but they just don't seem to draw me in.
Often I find when I've had a lot of putts I look back and realise I just happened to have lots of longer putts, so fewer one putt opportunities, more risk of three stabs.
Best thing, practice from different distances and work out where you're worst from (pro's make 50% from eight feet, amateurs...
Yet another of those rules that make no sense. If I've moved it and it counts as a stroke then I should just play it from where it lies. If I hole it then what does it matter whether it was accidental or not, my club hit the ball and it went in.
