Tried the New cobra f8 and Ping G400 max on sunday. After several shaft changes the fitter looked at me and said i cant get near the figures with the setup i have at the moment. Infact he pointed out i had a low smash factor at 1.39 and said get nearer 1.45 and you could get up to 15yds better...

For sale i have a set of Taylormade SLDR Irons. The set consists of 4 to pw plus the matching gap and sandwedge.The gap wedge is very hard to get hold of. They come fitted with C taper 90 tour in regular. New MCC4 grips fitted a few months ago but the clubs have been used once since. great...

Think they have developed there own prices. I was offered £170 for a set of irons one week the next week they offered me £47.00 doubled to £94. I got £200 the same day part ex elsewhere.

Normally I like winter golf but my ball striking has been awful so far. Not sure if it's getting used to the new irons as my woods and hybrids have been good so thinking of a dxt compressor to use use at the range or a new set of waterproofs. What's on your list?

What specs do you require. Luckily i was standard length just 1 degree up in standard shaft.

The Gloucester rd branch in Bristol is now the second hand outlet. Have absolutely masses of stock. Loads of newish wedges but the irons are well used and the good stock they have you may as well pay a bit more and get new.

Well what a rip off. I had a fitting about 10 days ago and tried the P790 irons. Had a set of Srixon Z355 irons that i have used once to trade and was offered £149 which i didnt accept. Phoned today as i saw the offer and was offered £47 doubled to £94 :p. I mentioned i was offered £149...

The Taylormade 7iron std lie angle is 62 degrees and the fitter said 1 up suited me. My srixon 7 iron is 61.5 degrees up so i would need 1.5 degrees upright to match. Both clubs are same length but different shafts so dont know if that would affect my shot?

Had a fitting yesterday and tried the titleist ap3 and Taylor made p790. Both beautiful clubs but the Taylormades edged it in flight and carry and dispersion. I play standard length and lie as off the shelf and the fitting said standard length 1 up. My Srixons are are 1.5 degree less lie angle...
