The Lamkin is softer and has a bit of tackiness to it. Like the TV it's great in the rain or if your hands sweat a lot in the summer. I don't wear a glove and found the corded TV ripped my hands to bits in the winter. I usually change once every couple of years, for me they don't need doing any...

It will usually only be one or two irons that need adjusting, never all. I don't take much of a divot though, not sure if that has any bearing on it.
