It's a great format, if time consuming as pointed out. Very social way of playing and popular for new members days (just played in one at my new golf club myself) as it gets everyone involved and everyone talking. Good fun.
Great advice as ever chaps - thanks one and all. Intro afternoon is on Tuesday for new members, a quick 9 holes round the course then some food and drinks and general chit chat.

Thanks for your advice everyone, all noted and taken on board. Seen a couple of mentions of the Belfry Fitting Centre and heard from a friend of a friend of a friend that they're good if expensive.

Agree on the trainers feel, i fear some golf clubs may look a little unfavourably on them....
Hello all. Speaking of golf shoes - has anyone tried any by Cleveland. I really like the Chev I range, thinking about buying some. My worry being that the style i like looks a little garish and bowling shoe-esque....
