Having kept radio logs in HM Forces we obviously used 24 clock and made two entries as follows:- 23:59:59 Log closed. 00:00:01 Log opened. The world stood still for two seconds as we never used 00:00, but there was never any confusion as to which day.

Slightly off OP, but can a pair in a 4BBB go out and mark their own card if there is no other pair entered. From everything I've looked at it would appear to be allowed. (Rule 3.3). The reason I'm asking is that a pair regularly book last minute a have twice this year marked their own card.
