Ruined my game during the first lockdown by smashing balls in to the net, so very little this time!
I do have some speed sticks so will crack on with those to make sure I’m improving rather than losing speed.
To stop messing around with my swing. I want to continue monthly lessons but my best golf has came recently when I’ve stuck to certain positions and just practice those rather than changing based on a feel or video.
Defo work out what you’re wanting from a lesson and go from there. I personally want to see a video of my tendencies and get a feel for how I better it. Also a big fan of trackman. Couple of lads I play with hate the technical stuff and want someone different.
One mate has seen about 10 coaches...
Just bought a clicggear 4, very impressed so far though a little heavier than I’m used too.
Umbrella holder is superb although rather annoying I’m tall and will need a spacer for an extra tenner...
I stopped seeing a pro at the range I go to, despite still chatting to him whenever I see him since. He’s a nice guy but I didn’t feel like he explained any changes very well. The guy I see now takes a couple videos, works out my patterns and then explains in good detail what I’m doing any how...
The coverage isn’t great but it’s getting better and this year should be better still. As well as featured groups (6 players) there are streams of amen corner, 15 & 16 and I think 4-6 or something. I think it’s TSN who previously broadcast them all as one lot of coverage so it was fairly...
Bombers don’t tend to smash the field here tbf.
Obviously Tiger has but his specialism has always been second shot and short game.
having said that, I do think Bryson will win this week because his advantage will be too great at a softer Augusta.
Then, come April they’ll probably force them...

Tbh other than one 36 pointer I’m not sure I’ve been struggling around 30ish in most stable ford comps for ages. No idea how that would translate in a reduction. Was expecting to go up to 16 or so... wait and see for November I guess.
Looks good... if anything my untrained and professional opinion you probably take it on the inside too much (though doesn’t really affect you shallowing the club).
Your follow through could probably be tidied up by turning firearms through impact rather than pulling your arms through.
Bought one for lockdown off eBay for £30 or so.
Enjoyed it and videoed myself to work on removing my slice for good. Swig was looking great and then once the golf courses opened I genuinely couldn’t hit the ball I had changed so much
Still randomly use it but try not to spend ages on it...
Interested to hear what most people, if anything, are working on in their game?
I decided at lockdown that I was going to work on not coming over the top and hopefully gain some distance. I was kind of on the right lines but had a couple of lessons this month and seeing huge improvements in my...
Should have booked one slot out as a guest!Perhaps not in the spirit of the club but at least then only a 1 or 2 ball would join you.
Luckily at my club it’s generally not that busy and it’s a nice change if a 1 or 2 ball join me and my mates pairing. Definitely the exception rather than the...

mirror changed it’s tune and suggests they could open soon :p:D:eek:(y)
God it’s so depressing how great the weather has been for 7 weeks and the courses have been shut.
Oh and to add to our misery it’s gonna be at least another 3 weeks.
Couldn’t think of a safer thing to be doing FFS.
