    Presentation night is normally held on a Saturday Evening, always poorly attended, I would say on average less than 50% of the winnings are accepted on the night, we have a small membership c250 but if we get 40 in attendance we have done well. Free drinks are offered to al that attend the...

    member of a course 5 minutes away, and also a member of a course in Nottingham, the reason I joined at Nottingham is the local course is on a flood plain and suffers badly in the winter

    I'm 50/50, as many bad hits off the mat as good ones, but the sacrifice during the wet and cold months are worthwhile, as the fairways are much better come the spring

    Hillsborough might be worth a look, very enjoyable, and I have to agree with Crazyface, Rotherham was a pleasure to visit, although it was some years ago for both courses.
