Go to your local American Golf, They are alway's very helpfull and will advise you for your handycap and game play the irons for you.
You will also be able to try before you buy and get a feel for them.
I think the smoking ban is the best thing thats happened in Scotland, Being a reformed smoker there was nothing worse than sitting in your local boozer in a cloud of smoke.

I agree, I have only broken 100 once on the course I play reguraly (with a tantalising 100 yesterday caused by a nine on the first hole). In the last 3 months though I have not shot above 110 and I am always close.

I agree with Becton, If you suspect any one of cheating just watch them play there shot. This soon stops this.
Also you can politly advise that prefered lies are not in play when you catch them teeing there ball up nice in the rough
