Just back from Los Alcazares. Played La Vallee on Tuesday and got to the 14th at Riquelme on Thursday before the thunderstorm closed the course and we got soaked to the skin driving the buggy back to the clubhouse. Friday was cancelled and I was marooned in the hotel.
Started the season playing well and thought I was on the verge of really playing the way I could reasonably expect to but injury and work got in the way and I started to fade away and lost some power. I worked out what was wrong and went to the range and improved dramatically and then did it on...
I think they are working too well, going really high which is great for stopping the ball but length is dropping alarmingly. I may be causing this myself so some work needed.
Decided to go to the gym instead of the golf yesterday because I can play Thursday and Friday. Doing single leg calf raises, felt a pop in my right calf and now I'm hobbling about in pain. Hopefully a strain rather than a tear.
Been a bit busy, I got a Big Max Silencio 2 golf bag and Mizuno JPX 925 hl irons (5 to PW) to go in the bag and Mizuno ST
Max 3 and 4 hybrids to join them. Think I might give the bank account a chance to recover now.
