The honest answer is that if the club is making you change your swing to hit it effectively then it's time to change the club. Plenty of lower offset hybrids out there.
It is not untrue at all. ProV1's are designed to be hit hard and true. They are a high compression high spinning ball for skilled players. We're not talking about short game here and even if we were skilled players still hit those shots hard most of the time.

The problem there is that it's not a four iron, but a nearly a two iron. Lofts have been strengthening and strengthening in the vain attempt to sell golfer distance at the expense of accuracy.

Impact is not a position. We have to get away from position golf because it kills swings. Set up the swing correctly with the correct pressures, make a decent takeaway, stay in and know your spot and let it rip.
This is what I was getting at in my post about my best round. I've since worked on meditation and mindfulness practices to attempt to stay more in the moment and be less affected by my playing partners etc.
This isn't really the time or the place, but in brief Hardy's one plane and two plane golfers very rarely exist in reality - virtually everyone is a mix of the two. His version of the one plane swing lacks dynamism in so many way that I'd never recommend it.
