I can see the benefit of both. but. for working people (myself included) it's now impossible to get a Saturday or sunday morning round. This week i was awake at 05:30, as it goes live at 6am for 7 days ahead. thought I'll get a round next week easy... logged on 6am.. all fully booked instantly...

Yeah thats what i dont understand, they aint struggling, they have or had a 3 year waiting list for membership, always busy, american gold and trackman range on site. i dont know their financial state but seems a bit strange

Not sure about the App thing. all they have said is that they will send your scores to Golf England for a handicap. Im not fully sure how that works. No mention of Igolf?

Im the same with Brampton grange. lovely course, always seems friendly, but you just cant get a round... online members booking always full, same names almost daily. seem to have it booked months in advance. So i guess its not for me.. i love playing at Pytchley, its got a 7 year waiting list...

Was given great advice by a plus 4 handicapper when in started out. Book a couple of lessons, not too many at once... then go away for a couple of weeks and work on what those lessons have taught you. Then book a couple more, and again go away for a few weeks to just work on that part. saves...

Club i play at has now become victim to a large group of members abusing the booking system. Not sure if this is widespread. I like the booking system. I thought it stopped course hogging, but clearly as there is no starter hut at the course, people just rock up, and and then do what they want...
