When discussing the Hero World Challenge and OWGR points, what is often overlooked is the fact that it took nine years for that tournament to get points, and they were minimal. So, if people want to compare, they need to start there.
For clarity, can players from the DP World Tour (DPWT) who finish in the top ten and earn a PGA Tour card also compete in both DPWT/PGAT?
Is there dual membership? If so, when are the players responsible for fulfilling their commitments to hold up the DPWT?
I honestly say this every time SS hits a golf shot. How can this guy constantly hit great shots after being so off balance? No one's hand-eye coordination is that good. Maybe that's his superpower.
Nope, I'm respectful to all, even those with different opinions. Basically, was told if I didn't have anything nice to say regarding LIV, don't say anything at all. That's why I stopped posting. Maybe some consider that argumentative.
Would love to counter debate this nonsense, but the last time I said anything remotely negative about LIV golf, I was threatened with being banned. Most here have learned that if you don't have anything glowing to say about LIV, it's best to keep your mouth shut.
Very entertaining tournament. I thought that Lowry would march to victory, especially after his drive on eighteen. Nacho pulled it together and took the trophy. Well done.
LOL! In four years, the only world-class golfers that LIV has produced were Gooch and Niemann. Young guys with potential will never live up to it in that environment. It may change when they play 72 holes, though.
For me, it's not where they play. If I were offered generational money to play golf for Saudi Arabia, I wouldn't hesitate. I dislike the lawsuits and the sense of entitlement. Just take the money and get lost, as Dustin Johnson did.
Correct. Players will not travel to Australia for a $2M total purse. This tournament will need to find more sponsors or more appearance fees.
Easy for people to say players should play this tournament more, or it should be a major. Look at the economics.
I think that I get it now. In your part of the world, a ban and a suspension are used differently and are interchangeable.
In my part of the sporting world, they are not. Got it.
