I have a hard travel case … given the cost of clubs, I want to maximise the protection.

Most average golfers have trouble hitting longer irons … I stop at 6 and have hybrids for 4 and 5.

Benross are a good option ... quality clubs at a reasonable price. You should be able to get a good condition second hand fairly recent set for £200 to £250.

Interested to see that Rory got a two shot penalty yesterday for taking a drop from within one club length to the side of the direct line … apparently the rule allowing that changed last year. I would have been OK as I never realised that the rule allowing one club length either side ever...
