    If the ball is damaged you will have to mark it before lifting and if it is damaged you replace it in the same place as the damaged ball without penalty. Now if the ball splits in half the stroke is cancelled and you have to go back to where you hit the last ball as close as possible and replay...

    Looking at the lofts for your new and old 6 iron is a difference of 3 degrees so your new 6 is more like a 5 in your old set
