I switched to a ss 1.0 ultra slim from a standard grip on my scotty. It's still fatter than a pistol grip, I found it took out the 'handsy' tendencies and I really like it. I would recommend getting it on, worst case is you don't get on with it then replace it with something else...

I did the same thing, but realised that if you play it a bit further back in your stance you can vary the flight. Another important point that Phil doesn't mention is that you mustn't come down too steep, once I shallowed the down swing I found it way more consistent.

Promised myself new irons when I get down to 12. Toss up between mp54's and 714ap2's. The good news is both sets should have come down in price by then 😀

ours is this weekend. 36 holes in one day, both a net and gross comp. top 16 gross scores go through to the knockout stages played over next weekend( final Sunday afternoon) I won the net comp last year. 20 over for 36 holes should be enough to get to the knockouts. Forecast is for heavy rain...

I have a 19degree i25. Very small head and goes miles when I flush it(not very often) I really do like my 4iron though. Not sure I would get the same distance with a 3 iron v the rescue. Starting to see other members carrying 5and 6 hybrids. Might try that when I get to 75:)

I think they could have let the rough grow for the open. Something like the rough at Gullane, at least some punishment for missing the fairways....

Second rounder leader Daniel Brooks is from my club. He has missed a few cuts in a row, so it's great to see him doing well. Spoke to him on captains day at the club a few weeks ago, he said he felt like his form has changed, and then he finished 20th last week. I hope he has a good weekend.

Hi I'm looking to upgrade my 913 to a 915, though I really like the current shaft I have. Will AG sell me just a head? Was thinking to go and do this before my round tomorrow but don't want to waste the journey if it's not possible. Anyone done anything similar? Cheers BF

I got those shoes.. i paid 150, they are well worth it.. they are most comfortable shoes, I often play 36 and its like walking on a mattress the whole time. BushFinder
