We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!
There's no question Flintoff was a better bowler than batter. Absolutely none. He was one of the best quicks in the world when his body permitted. So quick, accurate and hostile. Could move it off the seam both ways, and very adept at reverse swing. He was not a good batsman in my opinion...
You lot have been reading too many newspapers.
You beat Pakistan (who were throwing matches) and Bangladesh at home and think you're world beaters.
Meanwhile we lose in India (no 1 ranked team) in a series that, quite frankly if it wasn't for Umpire Billy Bowden's complete incompetence...
I don't think Wagner is being kept on by the show's owners at all. Quite the opposite in fact. I think they'd love nothing more than to get rid of him. I believe he's being kept in the show by people who are trying to make a mockery of it. Last xmas they pushed 'Rage Against The Machine' to...
It is very tough. Good luck with it. I really wanted to quit a couple of years ago. I used patches which were great to get me through the initial 3 weeks. I managed to stay off them for 12 months then started up again.
Going to try again at new year with the patches once more. They...
The whole saga has made fools out of a lot of them. Fans & manager.
I can't figure out what's changed.
Possibilities are:
a) Rooney has simply had a change of heart
b) The club have provided the assurances on squad strengthening he was after
c) It was all part of a plan to get more...
Well if 2 years isn't enough time then United should have sat down with him before that.
It's down to the club to get him to renew it earlier not Rooney.
This media reaction is becoming pretty tiresome.
I love Holloway but his brown nosing yesterday was quite sickening. His logic was also completely flawed. Comparing it to buying a house. Rooney is not a slave who is owned by Man Utd. They paid Everton compensation in order to break the...
It's one thing saying how Utd have always replaced players in the past but circumstances are a little different now.
A few years ago Utd's future was to be built on Ronaldo & Rooney. Now they'll both be gone. Tevez too. Scholes & Giggs can't have long left and quite frankly I doubt Fergie...
I would say finances have a direct correlation to performances if you look at the evidence. The more money (net) spent on the stadium the less money avaiable for the squad. I would have thought that was common sense?!
Exactly right. It wasn't down to luck that you had an exceptional team 5 years ago though. It's because you've got an EXCEPTIONAL manager. How anyone can doubt Wenger is beyond me. Trophies or not though you have to admire the way Arsenal play the game.
