Why do we then see courses full of people following dress codes yet still have un-replaced divots, pitch marks not repaired and bunkers...

Why does it matter to you? I genuinely don't care what other people wear, I don't understand why it vexes some people.

No dress codes in any of those clubhouses, football, rugby, cricket (amateur level before anyone quotes the MCC section at Lords 🙄)...

Some people absolutely live for that moment, "it's my chance!"
